Launching an EDA packet for National Income by Industry
As part of my National Income Project, today I’m launching an EDA packet that explores Revenue, COGS, and Gross Profits by industry. Data is on a quarterly basis and generally goes back to 2005.
Automation is powered by git actions, which refreshes daily. My source data from the BEA generally updates quarterly.
I plan to expand this in many directions: annual for longer history, more line items from the income statement, deeper statistical analysis.
